Juventus Open to Zirkzee-Luiz Swap Deal

Christian Eriksen has enjoyed a fine personal campaign thus far, seeing a major rise in minutes under former boss Erik ten Hag, while also emerging as the club’s second top-scorer this term.

The Dane’s passing ability remains unmatched but Ruben Amorim demands intensity from his players, something the former Tottenham Hotspur man will find hard to match given his age.

And Casemiro, who really shone under interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy, is also on the same boat and the Portuguese is reportedly open to moving both on in January.

And if Gazzetta dello Sport is to be believed, they might be able to acquire the perfect substitute. At this point, it’s no secret that Juventus wants Joshua Zirkzee, a struggling forward for United.

Although there are still some unexpected suitors, the Turin-based team is leading because to Thiago Motta’s interest with his former protégé.

However, the Bianconeri are unable to meet the Old Trafford team’s demands for the striker due to their financial circumstances.

According to the outlet, Juventus would consider selling Douglas Luiz in exchange for Zirkzee, which would be advantageous to both sides.

Since his summer transfer, the Brazilian has had a terrible run in Serie A, making just two starts due to a recent muscle ailment.

The €100 million former Aston Villa player was formerly a target for Manchester City, but if both sides accept the startling trade, he might end up joining Manchester.

Because of Juventus’s need to force the market to fix the defense and attack on a smaller budget, what can happen in January is no longer a mystery.

“Instead, they could attempt to pave the way for an equal-opportunity exchange with another player who desires a change of scenery during the season with the assistance of the Brazilian’s entourage, which is the same as Zirkzee’s.”

Luiz has played in the English Premier League and is capable of playing in any position in the midfield. He is the ideal match for both INEOS and Amorim given his age and profile.
