India look to go 2-0 up in T20I series against West Indies

(Cricket news) After comfortably winning the 1st T20I, India will take on West Indies in the 2nd T20I at Werner Park. India have been in excellent form when it comes to T20Is while West Indies were completely outplayed in the last match. Both the sides could ring in a few changes in the match depending on the conditions. It will be very difficult for the Windies to win the series if they lose this match therefore it becomes a must win game for them. Above all the home side will be looking to put in a better performance and make the game at least close.

India's possible playing XI:

Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik, Ravindra Jadeja, Harshal Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh, Ravi Bishnoi

Bench: Ishan Kishan, Deepak Hooda, Axar Patel, R Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav, Avesh Khan

India may not need to play a third spinner in this match which is why Ashwin might have to make way for Harshal Patel. Rishabh Pant opened the batting against England while Suryakumar Yadav opened in the first T20I. It will be interesting to see who opens the batting along with Rohit Sharma. India may want to experiment some more and it won't be surprising if Ishan Kishan comes back into the side to open the batting.

West Indies possible playing XI:

Kyle Mayers, Sharmarh Brooks, Nicholas Pooran, Shimron Hetmyer, Rovman Powell, Jason Holder, Odean Smith, Obed Mccoy, Akeal Hossain, Hayden Walsh Jr., Alzarri Joseph

Bench: Brandon King, Dominic Drakes, Keemo Paul, Romario Shepherd, Devon Thomas.

The Windies batting was very disappointing in the last match and the bowling wasn't great either. Both the departments have to work better in this game if they want to level the series. Jason Holder's batting position is something which will be interesting to see as it can change according to the situation and conditions. West Indies have a lot of all-rounders but not many specialists which seems to be an issue. Akeal Hossain had a very good game last time around and the same will be expected from him again.
