Ravindra Jadeja and Hanuma Vihari have returned to India’s 20-strong squad for the World Test Championship final next month against New Zealand and a five-match series against England.
Four standby players were selected — Abhimanyu Easwaran, Prasidh Krishna, Avesh Khan, and Arzan Nagwaswalla.
After undergoing a surgery for appendicitis, K L Rahul and Wriddhiman Saha who was infected with COVID-19 during the IPL have also been included depending on their fitness.
Both Jadeja and Vihari had endured injuries during the away series against Australia earlier this year.
The World Test Championships will be held in Southampton from June 18th against the Black Caps followed by Tests against England from August 4th.
