India and Australia gear up for the decider 3rd ODI at Chepauk

India will be looking for much improved performance after getting hammered in Visakhapatnam
India Vs Australia

(Cricket news) After losing the last game by such a big margin, India will be looking to bounce back. It is a good test for India especially before the World Cup. The 3rd ODI will be played at the M.A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The 1st two games have been really low scoring so fans will be hoping to see some fireworks. The big task for the Indian batters will be to find a way to deal with Mitchell Starc. This is the last international game before the IPL so the Indian team will be looking to end a fairly successful season on a high.

India’s ideal playing XI:

Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma (C), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, KL Rahul (wk), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Umran Malik, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohmmad Shami, Mohammed Siraj.

Bench: Shardul Thakur, Axar Patel, Jaydev Unadkat, Washington Sundar, Yuzvendra Chahal

Umran Malik has to come in for this match to get some raw pace into the bowling attack. That will compromise India’s batting depth but it will be worth it. This game is very important for Suryakumar Yadav as he has 2 golden ducks in this series. His ODI career hasn’t really taken off and with every failed innings, his place in the World Cup squad is becoming more and more unlikely. 4 seamers and 2 spinners looks to be the best combination for team India to go with.

Australia’s ideal playing XI:

Mitchell Marsh, Travis Head, Steve Smith(c), Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green, Marcus Stoinis, Alex Carey(wk), Sean Abbott,  Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa, Nathan Ellis

Bench: David Warner, Ashton Agar, Josh Inglis, Marnus Labuschagne

If Glenn Maxwell is fit then he will have to come in for Marnus Labuschagne. The opening partnership has been very good so David Warner may spend another game on the bench to get fully fit. The Australian middle order will be hoping to contribute this time around as that hasn’t happened in this series so far. Mitchell Starc is looking unplayable at the moment and he will be looking to continue his domination.
