In the TATA IPL 2023, RCB needs their Indian hitters to shine: Irfan Pathan

Royal Challengers Bangalore players will be focused on getting revenge as they compete against the Lucknow Super Giants in the TATA IPL 2023 rematch in Lucknow

(Cricket news) RCB is travelling to Lucknow after suffering a humiliating loss to KKR at home, therefore defeating LSG in their own backyard won’t be simple for RCB. In a high-scoring home match against KL Rahul & Co., the Faf du Plessis-led team was defeated.

Irfan Pathan, a former cricketer for India, believes that RCB appears to be dependent on its top three hitters, Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli, and Glenn Maxwell. It is alarming that their Indian players have not performed well at the plate in the TATA IPL 2023.

Speaking on Star Sports’ Cricket Live, Irfan Pathan said, “RCB will have to find a solution that if KGF (Kohli, Glenn, Faf) do not work then who will steer the team through troubled waters. Whether Dinesh Karthik or Mahipal Lomror. RCB’s middle order looks very weak. Karthik could not prove even once in the last 8 matches that the team can rely on him for big scores or during chases. RCB management will have to fix this loophole in their batting.”
