(Cricket News) In addition to captain Rohit Sharma, all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, spinner Adam Zampa, and top wicket-taker Mohammed Shami, the team also included top run-scorer Virat Kohli, who was named player of the tournament; other players included KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja, and Jasprit Bumrah. 

The selection panel included former Australia batsman Shane Watson, ICC General Manager Wasim Khan, and West Indies great Ian Bishop. Maxwell produced a double century against Afghanistan and a 40-ball 100 against the Netherlands earlier in the event.
