Srinagar, May 24: In a conflict torn himlayan region like Kashmir region, conflict has taken heavy toll on the mental health of the locals in general and youth in particular.
Although slowly but steadily, football has grabbed the attention of the youth and served as a better option for youth than focusing and getting swayed away by the murky game of conflict.
Although this region has produced players of national level and international repute, unfortunately the sudden violence has slowed down the process.
In order to end this fiasco, downtown Srinagar based Hyderya Sports FC has taken the lead and changed the paradigm by involving a majority of youth with this wonderful game.
Meanwhile, the caravan of Hyderya Sports for promoting the talent of youth from Sheri-Khass Srinagar and also from other far flung areas of Kashmir started its work from the year 2008. Since 2008 Hyderya FC has succeeded in achieving new feats in football by involving the youth from nook and corner of J&K.
In addition to promoting football as a game, credit goes to Hyderya Sports Football Club that the depressed and drug addicted youth has abandoned their bad habits and have chosen football as a cure to their mental and physical health.
While the main aim is to promote the talent of the Kashmiri youth at national and international level, Hyderya Sports FC with its relentless efforts, hopes that one day, Kashmiri youth will emerge as icons of football at national and international level.
