Hyderabad FC to take on Odisha FC to consolidate their playoffs candidature

After a courageous goal-less draw against Mumbai City FC, the in-form Hyderabad FC will challenge the bottom ranked Odisha FC at the Fatorda Stadium today (tuesday) at 7:30 pm to solidify their place in the playoffs. The Nizam’s are in high spirits with 4 wins and a commendable draw against Mumbai while Odisha FC have already lost 7 matches this season (the most by any side) and are languishing at the bottom of the Indian Super League table with 6 points. However, coach Stuart Baxter had nothing but praises for Hyderabad FC in the press release sent by Odisha FC. “I think they (HFC) are a very good team. They are one of the best teams” he said. The last time Odisha and Hyderabad encountered each other earlier this season, Hyderabad triumphed over an injury-ridden Odisha with the help of Aridane Santana’s penalty. “In the first game, we gave them a good game especially given the fact the game was decided on a penalty from a massive mistake by us. I am hoping that we can show that we have improved and I am hoping that we will do a lot better,” Baxter added.
