Thierry Henry, a former striker for France, thinks Arsenal can win the Champions League.  It is important to note that Mikel Arteta’s squad destroyed PSV 7-1 in their opening Round of 16 match.

 “They are capable of winning the Champions League.  I say it because I genuinely believe it.  All I want is for them to demonstrate their ability to defeat a strong team.  With all due respect to PSV, I believed that Arsenal would have a tough time, particularly while playing away from home, but based on their performance, it appeared to be simple for them.  They played a fantastic game, in my opinion.

“Unless something crazy occurs, we all know that the Premier League war is done.  But I’m trying to argue that this match could give Arsenal more confidence before they play Real Madrid or Atletico in the following round.  Henry told CBS Sports, “I think that if you want to win the competition, you have to beat these teams. Sometimes the tournament draw on the way to the final can help, and sometimes it can hinder.”
