(Cricket news) Captain Hardik Pandya will be thinking about Rinku Singh’s theft in the final over against Yash Dayal as GT square out against KKR at Eden Gardens in the rematch.

Sunil Gavaskar, a former cricketer for India, is really pleased with the way Hardik has managed Gujarat Titans. Despite the team losing a few close games that tend to lower the spirit of the teammates, the India all-rounder has set an excellent example and assisted GT in getting back on the winning track.

Gavaskar praised the Baroda batsman for his exceptional leadership skills and predicted that Hardik will make a lasting impression on the TATA IPL with his captaincy.

Gavaskar stated on Star Sports’ Cricket Live, “Sometimes the captains try to keep their personality and the team’s personality the same. The personality of the captain and the team could be different. Hardik is not trying to impose his personality on the team. That’s what Hardik is doing with GT. This is going to be his legacy as a skipper. He’s very similar to MS Dhoni in his approach as captain and imbibed the good qualities from his former India skipper.”

In the rematch at M Chinnaswamy, the Nitish Rana-led KKR team stopped the slump with a convincing victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore. After accomplishing the double against RCB and snapping the four-game losing streak, the club should feel much more confident.

When discussing KKR’s struggles in the TATA IPL 2023, former India cricketer Harbhajan Singh said Andre Russell’s form is a concern for the team.

Harbhajan Singh stated on Cricket Live on Star Sports, “The biggest reason for KKR’s struggle this season is the batting form of Andre Russell. Russell is struggling big-time this season and till he fires, KKR will find themselves in the bottom half of the points table. Russell’s problem is technical. He and the coaching staff need to sit down and address it.”

In their most recent match, Delhi Capitals upset Sunrisers Hyderabad in the latter’s own backyard. In the rematch later tonight at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, David Warner and company will be aiming for a similar outcome.

Axar Patel, an all-around player for India, has been a significant component of Delhi Capitals’ success in the TATA IPL, and the cricketer, who won player of the match honours in the most recent game, will do the same for DC.

A former Indian cricketer praised Axar Patel’s ascent and endorsed the Gujarati player to take over as the team’s captain because of his capacity for excellence in every area.

Irfan Pathan stated on Star Sports’ Cricket Live,”Axar Patel is a proper all-rounder. He varies his deliveries very well and picks up crucial wickets whenever the team requires him. He plays mature knocks and is an equally good fielder. I see him as a potential captain for Delhi Capitals.”
