Eden Hazard

(Football news) Eden Hazard before the start of the season said that if Real Madrid want him to leave in 2023 he will leave. Hazard has fulfilled his promise as Real Madrid have now terminated his contract. Even though Hazard’s Real Madrid career was considered over a long time ago the decision came as a surprise because it all happened so quickly. Eden Hazard didn’t even get a chance to play in his final game as he was an unused substitute. Now Hazard has to take a call regarding his future. He has offers for MLS and Canada while retirement is emerging as a strong possibility.

Eden Hazard was one of the best players in the world when he was at Chelsea. The Belgian never suffered long-term injuries, despite being the most fouled player in Europe consistently. In 2019, Hazard secured a big-money move to his dream club Real Madrid. He got a chance to be coached by Zinedine Zidane who was his childhood hero. The beginning of the crisis was when Hazard turned up overweight on his arrival in Madrid after his transfer. Since then, the winger has been troubled by constant injuries which has made it impossible for him to get regular game time.

Vinicius Jr reaching his full potential and becoming undroppable has resulted in Eden Hazard not getting any games on the right wing. He has been behind Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Fede Valverde and Marco Asensio in the pecking order. The Belgian has been an unused substitute for the majority of the season. The downfall has been incredibly sad but Eden Hazard’s career has been remarkably successful. He may still return and show the world what he is capable of, which will be the ending he deserves.
