(Football news) Borussia Dortmund host their rivals Schalke 04 in the Revierderby on Saturday. Schalke were relegated for the first time since 1988 last as Dortmund scored seven goals past their fiercest rivals with no response. The visitors will certainly be hoping for a better result this weekend, especially when Dortmund aren’t in great form. The Black and Yellow fans will rightly be incredibly excited about the return of the Revierderby after a season without facing Schalke, Edin Terzic and his players will be aiming to pick up a crucial victory ahead of the international break.
It has not been the greatest week for BVB as they lost 3-0 to their former boss Marco Rose in his first game in charge of RB Leipzig before their former star Erling Haaland's late volley saw Manchester City snatch a 2-1 win in the Champions League. After two very difficult away trips, Terzic will be relieved to be back at Westfalenstadion. Dortmund have not conceded a goal to Schalke in any of their last four matches, winning three of them which should give BVB some confidence entering into the match. Having slipped to fifth in the table, any more dropped points would be detrimental to their season and if they win it would ensure that they will head into the international break level on points with defending champions Bayern Munich.
Borussia Dortmund possible starting lineup:

Schalke 04 possible starting lineup:

Augsburg hosts defending champions Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga on Saturday, with the visitors looking to end a streak of three successive draws. Julian Nagelsmann last week rested several key players, including the likes of Sadio Mane, Leroy Sane and Benjamin Pavard – ahead of their match against Barcelona in the Champions League and that decision backfired as Matthijs De Ligt's clumsy challenge allowed Serhou Guirassy to convert from the penalty spot and claim a last-gasp equaliser for Stuggart. Bayern mid week did beat Barcelona 2-0, with two quickfire strikes from Lucas Hernandez and Sane and the Bavarians are upto six points from their opening two matches in what many has been labelled the 'Group of Death' in the Champions League
