When you think of Diego Simeone’s historic time in charge at Atlético de Madrid, one of the first things that comes to mind is his side’s unforgettable comeback against FC Barcelona at the Spotify Camp Nou on the final day of the 2013-14 season, a 1-1 draw which handed Los Colchoneros their first LALIGA EA SPORTS title in almost 20 years.

Both sides went into that match with a chance to win the title, and when Barça went 1-0 up in the first half it looked as if the trophy would be staying in Catalonia. But just after half time, up stepped Diego Godín with a glancing header from a corner to make it 1-1. Atleti held on, and the goal not only won the title but also went down in history as one of the most important in the club’s history.
