(Cricket news) The Sunrisers Hyderabad will head into the auction on the 23rd of December with the biggest purse, having let go of 12 players. The most notable exclusion was Kane Williamson and Nicholas Pooran while several domestic players were also released. SRH are in need of a captain and will most likely target Ben Stokes considering the amount of money they have available. They will also try to sign some big players which they'll be hoping to get hold of. As for Kane Williamson, the journey from getting retained for 14cr ahead of the likes of David Warner and Rashid Khan to getting dropped clearly indicates a problem in the SRH camp which they are looking to rectify in this auction.
