India welcome back the big boys as they look for series win

(Cricket news) After a comfortable victory in the first match, India are now hunting for another T20I series win. The match will be played at Edgbaston as Rahul Dravid and his coaching staff will take charge once again. India are expected to make a few changes as the whole squad is different. The match will be very important for India's T20 World Cup preparations as all the big players apart from KL Rahul are available for selection. England will definitely look to bounce back as they did not play up to their full potential in the last match.

India's possible playing XI:

Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik, Ravindra Jadeja, Harshal Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal.

Bench: Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Axar Patel, Ravi Bishnoi, Umran Malik, Avesh Khan

It will be very difficult for Rahul Dravid and Rohit Sharma to choose a playing XI. This line-up looks to be perfectly balanced according to the conditions. Leaving out Suryakumar Yadav and Deepak Hooda will be a very tough decision but at the same time Virat Kohli has to play. Rishabh Pant being a left hander in the middle order and the fact that he is in good form also should get a place in the team. Ravindra Jadeja will be back in the side and it will be interesting to see where he bats. Having Kishan, Jadeja and Pant in the side gives India the luxury of having left and right hand combinations across the line-up. Jasprit Bumrah will also return to the squad.

England's possible playing XI:

Jos Buttler, Jason Roy, Dawid Malan, Harry Brook, Liam Livingston, Moeen Ali, Sam Curran, Chris Jordan, David Willey, Matthew Parkinson, Tymal Mills

Bench: Richard Gleeson, Reece Topley, Phil Salt

Despite losing convincingly, England are likely to retain the same line-up. Reece Topley is perhaps the only player who could come into the side. Matthew Parkinson showed good signs in the first match and deserves to keep his place in the side. The openers will have to find a way to put Bhuvneshwar Kumar on the back foot and not allow him to dictate the pace of the game with his swing.

This is a very important game for Rahul Dravid and Rohit Sharma who have to take a few tough calls. If they do lose the match then questions will be asked about the team selection no matter what they do. England will definitely come out all guns blazing with intent and the visitors will have to stop their advances. The Edgbaston pitch will offer assistance to the seamers just like the last game or maybe even more. The match starts at 2:30 P.M local time and overcast conditions are expected but it is likely to be clear as the day progresses. The captain that wins the toss is likely to bowl first.
