2023 Cricket World Cup Semi-Finals: All You Need to Know.

(Cricket News) With the selection of the four tournament semi-finalists, the stage is set for the Cricket World Cup 2023 semi-finals. India and South Africa qualified first and second, respectively, with New Zealand securing the fourth and last knockout slot. In the league stage, all four teams performed admirably, going one-on-one against all nine other teams. India is the only team without a loss going into the semi-finals, but one loss might send them out of the competition.

Semi-final 1: At Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, India will play New Zealand in the first round of the knockout tournament. Notably, these two sides met in the 2019 World Cup semifinal; the game lasted two days because of the weather, with the Kiwis emerging victorious. This time, Rohit Sharma’s team wants to avoid history being repeated.

1st semi-final: India vs New Zealand: November 15th, Wednesday, 2:00 PM IST at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

Semi-final 2: In the second World Cup 2023 semi-final, Australia and South Africa will square off. Australia, the five-time champion, bounced back from losing their opening two league stage games to win seven straight and take third place in the standings. South Africa may have a psychological edge because they have won seven of their nine league games, including a meeting against Australia. It is yet to be seen if South Africa can triumph against Australia once more and secure their first-ever Cricket World Cup.

2nd semi-final: South Africa vs Australia: November 16th, Thursday, at 2:00 PM IST at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
