Hangzhou, China, will host the tournament. The men’s cricket competition will include 15 teams and will begin on September 27. On October 7, the bronze and gold medal matches will be played.

With top-seeded teams such as India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh advancing directly to the quarter-finals, the stage is set for more exciting cricket action during Asia Cup 2023.

Asian Games 2023: Men’s cricket tournament:

The men’s T20 cricket event will begin on September 27 and end on October 7 with bronze and gold medal matches.

Format:

The competition will feature 15 teams, with top-seeded nations beginning their adventure in the quarter-finals. The remaining 11 teams will battle in groups, with the winners joining the top four teams in the quarter-finals. The Asian Games 2023 men’s T20 cricket tournament will feature both group rounds and direct admissions to the quarter-finals. For the first phase, teams were divided into four groups.

Group C: Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand

The remaining teams are separated into two groups, and the top eight will be determined following round-robin matches and a quarter-final qualifier.
