Chelsea look for a 3rd consecutive win as they play away at Leicester

Chelsea will take on Leicester City to try and keep up the momentum
Chelsea

(Football news) After a torrid period Chelsea have managed to get 2 back to back wins. The first one was a narrow 1-0 victory against Leeds while the next one was an incredible 2-0 win against Borussia Dortmund. The win over Dortmund booked Chelsea’s spot in the UCL quarter final despite being 1-0 down after the first leg. Now Chelsea look to keep the momentum going as they travel away to Leicester City. The Foxes are currently 15th on the table just 2 points off the relegation zone.

Chelsea are still without Thiago Silva, Armando Broja and Edouard Mendy while N’Golo Kante could return to the bench. Cesar Azpilicueta is a doubt but Mason Mount is back from suspension. Leicester City on the other hand will be missing James Justin, Harvey Barnes, Youri Tielemans and Victor Kristiansen while the availability of Ryan Bertrand and Jonny Evans is doubtful. Leicester City have lost their last 4 games and the pressure is mounting on Brendon Rodgers. Both teams desperately need a win but Chelsea will enter the game as favorites.

Graham Potter’s men have finally gained some confidence with 2 wins. There is still a lot of room for improvement as the blues are 10th on the table. Top 4 is a little out of reach and a Europa League or Conference League finish is more realistic. Potter is starting to understand his players better and looks to have settled for a 3-4-3 system. The consistency of Chelsea will be tested in the coming weeks as they have some tricky fixtures coming up.
