(Cricket News) Stuart Broad, a prominent figure in English cricket who recently retired from the international scene, openly expressed his admiration for Pakistan’s left-arm speedster, Shaheen Shah Afridi.

Currently representing Welsh Fire in The Hundred tournament, the 23-year-old Shaheen continues to impress with his skillful toe-crushing yorkers.

Sharing his perspective, Broad remarked, “Shaheen Shah Afridi is definitely one of my preferred bowlers to observe on the global stage. There’s a remarkable aura when he charges in, and I am particularly fond of bowlers who infuse their run-up with dynamism and vitality.”

“He possesses an innate talent – the manner in which the ball curves back into the right-handed batsmen is truly a delight to behold.

“Furthermore, his participation with the Notts Outlaws this season, a team that holds personal significance for me, resonates deeply. He is indeed one of the bowlers I greatly respect, and I sincerely hope for his continued success,” Broad further stated.

Shaheen is set to lead Pakistan’s bowling lineup in the upcoming Asia Cup and ODI World Cup. The rapid bowler has staged an impressive recovery from his knee injury.
