People who lived in the Valencian Community are still dealing with the devastating repercussions of the extreme flooding. Adrián González Barbé, a devoted Betis fan, is one of these people.
The Betis supporter opened up about his predicament after this tragedy and asked for help in reestablishing his personal and professional lives in a touching video. The Verdiblanco Club’s offices received this heartfelt plea, and the Seville-based team was resolved to assist it.
Betis surprised Adrián by letting him meet Pablo Fornals, the Castellon player who has always been close to all flood victims, at the UEFA Conference League match against Helsinki, which was played at the Estadio Benito Villamarín.
The surprises didn’t stop there, though. To help him regain his mobility, the Betis team partnered with REVEL, a car rental firm and the club’s official sponsor, to provide him with a rental automobile. The CEO of the Verdiblanco club, Ramón Alarcón, said: “The whole Betis community has come together in support of Valencia during this period. We are therefore honored that our sponsors—REVEL in particular—also make any contribution they can,” he said.
