(Football news) After five games, both teams have 13 points, and they both know that a win here will guarantee them a spot in the tournament in Germany the following year. Austria, having won four and drawn one of their opening five games in Group F, scoring 12 goals and allowing only four goals, is poised to make it to their third consecutive European Championship.

The only time Das Team has lost points in Group F was when they played to a 1-1 draw with Belgium in the rematch held in Brussels four months ago. They have won both of their previous qualifiers against Azerbaijan and Estonia and have defeated Sweden both at home and away, including a 3-1 triumph in Stockholm last month.

Keyly, Ralf Rangnick’s team is seven points ahead of third-place Sweden and needs just three more points from their next three games to guarantee a spot at Euro 2024. They trail leaders Belgium only on goal differential.

FIFA ranks Austria as the 25th team in the world, and they have an outstanding home record in Euro qualification, having won 11 of their previous 12 games played at home since October 2014.

The last time Das Team triumphed over the Red Devils was in a friendly 4-2 victory at home in June 1959. Nevertheless, Das Team had lost all six of their previous encounters with Belgium.

The team led by Ralf Rangnick is only one goal behind leaders Belgium on goal differential, but more importantly, they lead third-place Sweden by seven points and will need just three more points from their remaining three games to guarantee a spot at Euro 2024.

Austria, ranked 25th in the world by FIFA, has a stellar home record in Euro qualifying, having won 11 of their previous 12 games played at home since October 2014.

Das Team, on the other hand, has lost all six of their previous encounters with Belgium. Their most recent victory over the Red Devils came in a home friendly match that they won 4-2 in June 1959.
