(Cricket news) Australia convincingly won the 3rd W-T20I by 14 runs to wrap up the series as India couldn't manage to get the consolation victory. Luck hasn't been on India's side this series as rain interruptions in crucial periods and losing 6 out of 7 tosses have cost them dearly. Having said that, the performance in pressure situations hasn't been up to the mark in the white ball format.
India finally won the toss and put Australia into bat first. Beth Mooney's 61 and Tahlia McGrath's 44* got Australia to a stiff total of 149. No batter apart from Smriti Mandhana who scored 52 and Richa Ghosh who scored a quickfire 23 towards the end really got going as India could only manage 135 in their 20 overs.
India had nothing to lose in the game but still didn't perform like it. Australia on the other hand wanted to finish things off in style. Performances from Jemimah Rodrigues, Richa Ghosh and Pooja Vastrakar in this T20I series were a few positive for the Indian camp. Harmanpreet Kaur has been out of form for quite a while now and that is a very big concern for India in all formats.

The reaction of their participation has been very positive as the experience will be very handy for the players at the international stage.
