PV Sindhu marches on to quarterfinals in Tokyo

(Badminton news) Olympic 2021 Live Update: In the Women’s Singles match PV Sindhu looked strong in the round of 16 with a victory over Mia Blichfeldt of Denmark in the Tokyo Olympics. She beat her opponent in 41 mins with a score of 21-15, 21-13 to progress into the quarterfinals. Sindhu is the only player left from the Indian badminton squad who is still in the running for an Olympic medal as Sai Praneeth’s run came to an end yesterday.

Sindhu will play her quarterfinals match tomorrow and will look to add another Olympic medal to make it two in two. She is on the course of history and hopefully takes the crown in Tokyo.
