Israel’s Shanny Itay defeats India’s Tarundeep Rai 6-5 at archery men’s elimination

(Archery news) Olympic 2021 Live Update: In a close and hard fought battle, Israel’s Shanny Itay emerged winner with a score of 6-5 after five sets. In the 1/32 elimination round earlier today, Rai defeated Ukraine’s Hunbin 6-4 and held his nerves in the tie-breaker to get perfect 10s. However, he fell short in the second round and missed out by a single point in the shootout against Shanny Itay.
