(Football News) Al Nassr has called off their planned two-game tour in China due to an injury sustained by their forward, as announced by the Saudi club on Tuesday. This development has raised concerns about the Portuguese player’s potential participation in the upcoming match against Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami.

Originally, Al-Nassr was slated to play against Shanghai Shenhua on January 24 and Zhejiang four days later, but both matches have now been postponed. In a statement, Al-Nassr expressed their willingness to complete their training camp in Shenzhen as planned and conveyed their gratitude for the warm welcome received in the city. They also mentioned their intention to arrange a new match in the near future in collaboration with the organizers.

The 38-year-old Ronaldo, who recently received three prizes at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, apologized to the fans for the unforeseen fitness issue. Despite the setback, he emphasized the team’s commitment to rescheduling the canceled games and returning to China.

Ronaldo was reported to be absent from Al-Nassr’s training sessions at the beginning of the week, following his time in Dubai. Following the cancellation of their China tour, Al-Nassr is now gearing up to face Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami in a friendly tournament in Riyadh on February 1. The tournament will also feature a match against Neymar’s Al-Hilal, the current leaders of the Saudi Pro League.
