Bumrah set to return as India look to bounce back against Australia

(Cricket news) After a disappointing loss in the 1st T20I, India will look to comeback and level the series. Jasprit Bumrah is finally fit and ready to go which is a massive boost for the men in Blue. Bumrah alone will not work wonders as the other bowlers also need to step up. The Australian bowlers also need to do a better job. Cameron Green was a revelation as an opener in the last game and he will look to further assert his position. The pitch in Nagpur wouldn't be as friendly as the one in Mohali which means that both the teams could rope in an extra spinner. Rain could play spoilsport as Nagpur has experienced showers in the past few days and the weather during the match is forecasted to be cloudy.

India possible playing XI:

Rohit Sharma (c), KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal

Bench:

Rishabh Pant, Harshal Patel, Deepak Chahar, Deepak Hooda, Umesh Yadav

Umesh Yadav will be making way for Bumrah even though he did take two crucial wickets in Mohali. India need to have an additional spinner in Nagpur and Ravichandran Ashwin is the obvious candidate. Harshal Patel is most likely going to be the one to miss and plus he is also coming back from an injury which means that playing back to back games might not be in his best interest. Dinesh Karthik is also likely to keep his place for this series at least while Rishabh Pant could get an opportunity against South Africa.

Australia possible playing XI:

Aaron Finch (c), Cameron Green, Steven Smith, Glenn Maxwell, Josh Inglis, Tim David, Matthew Wade (wk), Ashton Agar, Pat Cummins, Adam Zampa, Josh Hazlewood

Bench:

Nathan Ellis, Sean Abbott, Daniel Sams, Kane Richardson

Ashton Agar is the spin bowling option who will definitely come in handy while Glenn Maxwell could get more overs. Cameron Green had a good game with the willow and he can definitely do more with the ball. Adam Zampa had a rare off night at Mohali and he will be looking to come back stronger as will Josh Hazelwood. Without Mitchell Starc, Australia lack a death bowler which is where Cummins needs to step up to the task.
