Players who can make a massive impact for their new clubs in the Premier League

The much awaited Premier league 21-22 season is upon us as all the teams have bolstered their squads with world class players. The likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea are all looking to stop the reigning champions Manchester City reclaiming the Premier league again. Let us take a look at how these jaw dropping signings can have an impact on their clubs.

Jadon Sancho to Manchester United

The red devils have been on a look out for a right winger ever since Cristiano Ronaldo left and have finally found the ex Manchester City player Jadon Sancho as the missing piece in their jigsaw. Jadon Sancho over the years has become the most sought after teenager as he has consistently performed for Dortmund, averaging 20 goals and 20 assists every season in the Bundesliga. This year Jadon should fit Ole Gunnar Solskjaer system like a glove as United were crying out for a right winger since last season. With a front four of Cavani, Rashford, Bruno and Sancho they are sure to instill fear in their opponents, which in turn will automatically make them one of the best attacking sides in the Premier League. Time will tell us if Sancho can help United win their first league title since Sir Alex Freguson left.

Raphael Varane to Manchester United

The most surprising signing this season has to be Manchester United signing Raphael Varane from Real Madrid for a bargain 40 million pounds. This signing elevates the United defence as he’ll be partnering Harry Maguire to form a very good defence pairing. Last season, United conceded very sloppy goals which evidently cost them the title but with the arrival of Varane, their defense looks a lot more solid. Solskjaer will particularly be delighted with the arrival of Varane as he can probably play with one holding midfielder rather than two, which would give the likes of Pogba and Bruno to play more attacking football. Varane brings a ton of experience with him as he has won every single trophy that is there to be won, his experience will eventually help the youngsters in the squad to flourish. Ole will be hoping that Varane helps them mount a proper title challenge this season.

Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea

The blues last year just about snuck into the top four of the Premier League despite not having a proven goalscorer. Even after buying Timo Werner from RB Leipzig last season, they lacked an out and out number 9 but Chelsea this year have made amends by roping Romelu Lukaku, the most sought after striker in world football nowadays. Tuchel will welcome him with open arms as now he can play a fluid front three with Werner, Havertz, Mount or Pulisic and given Lukaku's track record he’ll flourish playing with them. Romelu left the premier league two years ago and he managed to lift the Scudetto with Inter courtesy of his exceptional goal scoring record. Thomas Tuchel, after guiding Chelsea to the Champions League, will be hoping to mount a serious title challenge with the help of the Belgian ace.

Ibrahima Konate to Liverpool

Last year Liverpool lost their Premier League crown to Manchester City due to major injuries to their first choice centre backs Virgil Van Dijk and Joe Gomez. It forced Klopp to deploy his midfielders as centre backs while also giving chances to the relatively inexperienced Nathaniel Phillips and Rhys Williams, which resulted in them leaking a lot of goals. This season, the Reds have learned from their mistakes and purchased Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig for 36 million pounds. The 22 year old is expected to form a formidable centre back pairing with Van Dijk that will help the Liverpool midfielders to play more freely. Konate is an explosive defender who has the knack of scoring goals, this will certainly help Jurgen Klopp's team as last season their explosive wingbacks didn’t get much support upfront. The Liverpool fans will certainly hope that Konate has the same impact as Van Dijk had during their championship winning run.

Jack Grealish to Manchester City

The defending champions last year won the Premier League with great ease but that isn't slowing down their ambition to get better. However, they failed to replicate the same form in Europe and lost the Champions League final to their rivals Chelsea. Ahead of the new season the cityzens have roped in England’s hottest property Jack Grealish for 100 million pounds from Aston Villa. The signing of Grealish just makes them stronger in the midfield as well as the forward line as Jack can play in both positions. The prospect of Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden and Jack Grealish combining together already looks like an ominous task for the Premier League defenders. Guardiola probably has the best possible squad in the league at his disposal and he would like to achieve European as well as domestic supremacy.
