Arthur, Grant and Puttick resign from their roles at PCB

(Cricket news) Mickey Arthur, Grant Bradburn and Andrew Puttick have resigned from their respective positions at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore.

Micky Arthur before his assignment at the NCA was the Director of cricket for the Pakistan men’s cricket where as Grant Bradburn and Puttick served as head coach and batting coach of the Pakistani men’s cricket team respectively.

The trio was relieved of their roles with the senior men’s team as part of a major change post World Cup debacle. They were assigned new roles in the Pakistan cricket setup in November 2023.

Pakistan had a poor run in the 50 over World Cup in India as they failed to qualify for the Semis. Micky Arthur’s statement regarding the 50 over World Cup, feeling like a BCCI event rather than an ICC event also grabbed a lot of attention of the people.

“All three individuals informed the Pakistan Cricket Board of their decision to leave their respective jobs by the end of January 2024. The decision was taken amicably between all the stakeholders. The PCB wishes them well in their future endeavours and is grateful for their services,” the PCB said in a release.
