RCB host struggling DC as the capital side look for their first win this season

RCB play DC at the Chinnaswamy Stadium for match no 20 of the IPL

(Cricket news) Delhi Capitals are the only winless team in this year’s tournament as Anrich Nortje almost pulled off a miracle with his pinpoint yorkers in their last match against Mumbai Indians. Tim David’s big dive on the last ball saved his side as the Capitals lost their fourth successive match. RCB were also on the wrong side of a last-ball thriller but are subsequently better placed than Capitals as they will be bolstered by the return of Wanindu Hasaranga, who is one of the best wrist spinners in T20 cricket right now.

DC will know that RCB struggle with spin as left-arm spinners Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav offer Capitals a favorable match-up against their right-handed batters. Nortje and Mustafizur should provide the much needed death bowling but Warner’s slow start at the top has left them playing catch-up the entire as Mitchell Marsh’s return should help them get a fast start in the powerplay.

For RCB the Sri Lanka leg spinner will slot into the XI in place of David Willey or Wayne Parnell. As we might see one more change in Akash Deep for Karn Sharma. Josh Hazlewood is expected to arrive in India on Friday so it’s unlikely he will play against Capitals. RCB will again use Anuj Rawat as the floater in the middle order to counter Axar and Kuldeep while if they bowl first Akashdeep will be in the lineup
