AC Milan are 1-0 ahead after the 1st leg but now Tottenham Hotspur have a chance to overcome the deficit in the 2nd leg at San Siro
AC Milan Vs Tottenham Hotspur

(Football news) After losing the first leg 1-0, Tottenham Hotspur won 2 and then lost 2 of their matches. They were knocked out of the FA Cup by Championship side Sheffield United, which means that the Champions League is their only hope of securing a trophy this season. AC Milan came into this game having lost 2-1 to Fiorentina away from home. Milan have a chance to play in the Champions League quarter finals for the first time since 2012. The 7 time winners will be looking to become a European force once again.

Milan have almost their full squad available for the game. Mike Maignan is back from his injury and will be starting between the sticks. Rafael Leao and Rade Krunic were suspended for the weekend and will be fresh for this clash. Brahim Diaz is fit despite a problem with his knee. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has made two consecutive substitute appearances since his return from injury but he has been left out of the squad along with Sergino Dest, Yacine Adli and Tiemoue Bakayoko. Olivier Giroud has been a rival for Tottenham Hotspur for a long time with Arsenal and Chelsea. He will be very key for Milan up front.

Tottenham Hotspur have a long list of injuries. Ryan Sessegnon, Hugo Lloris, Yves Bissouma and Rodrigo Bentancur are long term absentees. Eric Dier is suspended after receiving a yellow card at San Siro. The good news is that Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is back after serving his ban in the 1st leg. Antonio Conte has fully recovered from his illness and he will be in the dugout. The choice between right backs Emerson Royale and Pedro Porro is going to be a very difficult one for Antonio Conte. Tottenham Hotspur will have to play out of their skins to secure a quarter final spot.
