(Football news) Kylian Mbappe wants a move away from PSG just 5 months after signing a bumper contract. According to various reliable reports the Frenchman is unhappy at PSG and wants to leave the club in January. The news comes as a shock as Mbappe passed up an opportunity to sign for Real Madrid just 5 months ago, that too for free. Mbappe ended up making the headlines for choosing PSG's mega money contract. Now it is said that the Frenchman is upset because of a few broken promises and his relationship with the club is completely broken. Reports also stated that Mbappe asked to leave the club in June itself to which PSG put a €400m price tag for any club other than Real Madrid. 

The reasons for his unhappiness could be related to Erling Haaland. The Norwegian for the past 2-3 years is considered as Mbappe's rival. Haaland made his move to Manchester City and has lit the stage on fire. Mbappe is also playing well and scoring goals but it is Haaland that is grabbing the headlines. One reason for that could be that Mbappe doing well for PSG has become common and on top of that his teammates Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr are playing better than him. Mbappe also wants to play a free role upfront which he isn't able to do under the current system. There are definitely other false promises that have intensified the situation. PSG put a lot of pressure on Mbappe to sign the contract which is now making Mbappe think that he succumbed to the pressure and made the wrong decision.

PSG director Luis Campos came out and denied these reports but there are too many reliable sources reporting the exact same thing for it to be completely false. Mbappe's preferred choice would be Real Madrid but it is unlikely that Madrid will go for him. Real Madrid were humiliated when Mbappe rejected them for PSG and now the French club will refuse to negotiate with Madrid. Los Blancos will not enter negotiations for some crazy amount because Mbappe rejected the opportunity to join them for free. His attitude is also becoming a problem as he looks to have put himself ahead of the team. PSG will be willing to sell Mbappe for the right price to any club apart from Real Madrid which is likely to be Chelsea or Liverpool.

There are other reports which say that PSG paid bots to attack Mbappe and other players on social media. If this is legally proven then Mbappe can officially terminate his contract and become a free agent. In his first interview after signing the new contract, Mbappe was asked if his Real Madrid dream was over and he firmly said that it's never over. If Mbappe wants to join Real Madrid then he will either have to run out his contract in 2025, terminate his contract or go to another club and then come to Real Madrid.
