Vinicius to Miss UCL Match vs Liverpool

“Real Madrid’s medical services have determined that player Vinicius Junior has a hamstring injury in his left leg following tests conducted today,” the Blancos said in a statement.

Vinicius Junior, a forward for Real Madrid, will not play in the Champions League encounter against Liverpool because of a hamstring injury, the Spanish team announced on Monday.

“Real Madrid’s medical services have determined that our player Vinicius Junior has a hamstring injury in his left leg following tests conducted today,” the Blancos said in a statement.

The Brazilian winger is anticipated to miss nearly a month, according to Spanish media. He will also miss Wednesday’s game at Anfield and the Champions League trip to Atalanta on December 10.

Vinicius played the entire game as Madrid defeated Leganes 3-0 in the league. Despite not finding the score, he helped Kylian Mbappe open the scoring for the team.

He also helped his team win a free kick at the edge of the box, which allowed Federico Valverde to double Madrid’s lead and set up the second goal.
