Today: Barcelona releases their 24/25 away kit

FC Barcelona has officially unveiled its away jersey for the 2024–25 season, after a lengthy delay and even a few games played in their Senyera jersey. As it did in seasons past, including 2011–12 and 2020–21, the shirt’s primary color will once again be black. One of the key elements is the TPU badge which has a reflective finish on a darkened badge, proudly sitting between blue and garnet outlines. Additionally, the shirt has a red stripe on one side and an electric blue stripe on the other. In the meanwhile, the Nike swoosh and the club emblem will both be black, although they will have a gradient with the kit’s secondary colors. The name and number on the back of the kit, along with the emblems of Ambilight and Spotify, will all be shown in red. There will be a small collar on the shirt as well. The entire outfit will be black, including the shorts and socks.

When Barcelona plays their Catalan rivals at Montilivi on September 15, following the international break, they are anticipated to wear this new shirt for the first time against Girona.

The black kit has always been favourite of barca fans. In a public statement on Tuesday, Joan Laporta emphasized that while they could have already secured a deal, they chose to take their time to ensure they get the best possible agreement.

As Laporta put it, “It will be the best sports equipment contract in the world of football.
