Steph Curry Tees Off with Family in Ireland

Steph Curry, widely regarded as the best three-point shooter in NBA history, switched from basketball to golf this week while on a family vacation in Ireland.  The Golden State Warriors superstar was spotted playing golf at the picturesque Waterville Golf Links in County on Monday afternoon.

Curry was accompanied by fellow NBA players and family members, including his brother Seth Curry, brother-in-law Damion Lee, and his father, Dell Curry, a former NBA player and pundit.  Before teeing off, the foursome was seen enjoying clubhouse takeout coffees and posing for selfies with delighted workers.

Waterville Golf Links, noted for its breathtaking seaside vistas, is a popular destination during Ireland’s peak golf season, when celebrities from all over the world travel to play its famous courses.  This visit joins a long list of prominent people who have loved Irish golf, including Hollywood actor Will Ferrell, who played at the Old Head Golf Club in Kinsale in 2022.

Steph Curry has created an incredible career since joining the Golden State Warriors in 2009, winning four championships and eleven All-Star appearances while generating an estimated net worth of $250 million.  His presence in Waterville created a distinct vibe throughout the club.

Waterville Golf Links posted images of the amazing visit, expressing their delight: “A very warm welcome to NBA legends Steph Curry, Seth Curry, their father Dell Curry, and fellow NBA star Damion Lee to Waterville Golf Links.”  It was an honor to host such outstanding basketball talent, and we hope you had a great day on the courses!”
