(Football news) After the loss against Barcelona and draw against Club America, Real Madrid now prepare for a clash against Juventus. This match will be very important for Los Blancos who have a UEFA Super Cup final against Frankfurt on Thursday. Juventus have played two friendlies already in which they defeated Chivas and drew against Barcelona. Carlo Ancelotti has already come out and said that the team that plays against Juventus will be the one that plays against Frankfurt. Real played well in both the pre-season matches but they weren't clinical enough which is understandable because it is pre-season.

Dani Carvajal who hasn't played a single minute yet will be back for this match. As for Juventus they have suffered a massive blow as Paul Pogba has been ruled out for a couple of months due to a knee injury. Real Madrid need to be more ruthless in front of goal and test the opposition keeper more. Real Madrid's biggest issue is that they don't have a back-up for Karim Benzema. Playing Eden Hazard as a false 9 hasn't worked too well even though Hazard had a decent outing against Club America. Ancelotti will want his team to tick a few boxes to take that confidence into the Super Cup final.
