After leading Hansi Flick’s team to victory over Brest on Tuesday, Barcelona midfielder Pedri was ecstatic.
The young player contributed significantly to the win and claims that playing farther back in midfield for Barcelona under the German is something he appreciates.
In addition to like playing farther back with greater ball contact, he remarked, “I felt very good and I feel very comfortable there.”
“I’m happy if they gave it to Cubarsi because as long as they give it to someone from our team, I’m satisfied.” “They didn’t give me the MVP award, and some people said that I deserved it.”
The midfield player was also questioned about rumors that his agents are nearing a Barcelona contract extension through 2030, but he claims he hasn’t heard anything as of yet.
“I’m doing great here, and I’ll talk to my agent,” he continued, “but I don’t know anything.”
In La Liga, Barcelona will next play Las Palmas, Pedri’s old team, when the Canary Islanders travel to Montjuic.
