(Cricket News) The Indian Premier League (IPL) team Punjab Kings (PBKS) purchased eight players in the recently concluded IPL auction in anticipation of the 2024 edition of the competition. The team’s largest acquisition was Indian medium pacer Harshal Patel, which cost Rs. 11.75 crore.
South African batsman Rilee Rossouw, who was acquired for Rs. 8 crores following an intense bidding war with the Delhi Capitals during the accelerated auction, was next on the team’s list. England all-rounder Chris Woakes was also purchased for a total of Rs. 4.20 crore, along with a group of local talent.
