(Football news) Odisha FC, the defending champions of the Super Cup, were placed in Group D alongside FC Goa, Bengaluru FC, and the winner of the I-League qualifier in a draw held by AIFF on December 18, 2023. The 4th edition of the Super Cup, named Kalinga Super Cup, will be held in Odisha from 9th -28th January 2024.
The tournament consists of 4 groups, with each group containing 3 teams from the ISL and 1 team from the I-League. Group winners will progress to the semi-finals, concluding with the final on 28th January 2024. The winner of the Kalinga Super Cup will qualify for the ACL 2 Preliminary Stage of the AFC 2024-25 season.
Building on Home Advantage:
Odisha FC won the last edition of the Super Cup by beating Bengaluru FC in the finals and eventually qualified for the AFC Cup 2023-24. With the tournament being held in their home state, Odisha FC will be looking to defend the title and qualify for the AFC competitions for the second time in a row. The clubs will be allowed to field a max of 6 foreigners in the playing XI (same as in the current AFC competitions).

Group B: Kerala Blasters FC, North East United FC, Jamshedpur FC, I-League 2
Group C: Mumbai City FC, Chennaiyin FC, Punjab FC, I-League Team 3
Group D: FC Goa, Odisha FC, Bengaluru FC, I-League Team 4
