The Premier League title is now in Manchester City's hands but they still need to keep the momentum going

(Football news) After the incredible win over Arsenal, Manchester City are just 2 points off the top of the table with 2 games in hand. Now City have a chance to go on top as they play Fulham away from home. The title is now pretty much in City’s hands and this team has a lot of experience of how to win the Premier League from these situations.

Pep Guardiola’s men are in incredible form as they are hunting for a treble, however a minor slip can cause problems because Arsenal aren’t out of it just yet. Fulham are having a really good season as they sit 10th on the table. The Cottagers are coming into the game on the back of a narrow 1-0 loss to Aston Villa.

Manchester City have only one injury absentee which is Nathan Ake. Pep Guardiola may rest a couple of player to make sure everyone is fit and not exhausted towards the end of the season. After his incredible performance against Arsenal, Kevin De Bruyne may start on the bench. Riyad Mahrez and Phil Foden are two players who will be keen to get a start.

Fulham on the other hand will be without the suspended Alexandar Mitrovic. Layvin Kurzawa is still out of contention due to a knee injury, while Harry Wilson and Willian are major doubts. Fulham’s defense will be tested against an in-form City team and they will have to play out of their skin to keep them at bay.

In the Premier League, Fulham away is one of the tougher fixtures that Manchester City have to deal with. At this point it seems very unlikely that Manchester City will slip up. Having said that if Fulham somehow manage to hold on to a draw or even a win then things will get interesting. Pep Guardiola has already said that he is thinking and planning for the Real Madrid game but it is important that City don’t lose focus in the league because they are in the drivers seat.
