Manager’s Fearful Response Ahead of Chelsea

A manager has expressed dread in response to a media question this week before their upcoming Premier League match against Chelsea.

Chelsea’s performance this season has gone from good to amazing, making them a team to be feared at the moment.

Chelsea should certainly be hoping to capture all three points after thumping Southampton earlier this week, but Tottenham is now afraid to play them on Sunday afternoon.

Spurs are now dealing with a back ailment, and yesterday night they lost Ben Davies as well.

Ange Postecoglou, their manager, claims that Davies has a hamstring injury as a result of playing every minute of every game. He also referred to Bournemouth’s goal, which helped them defeat Spurs 1-0 in the league last night, as “madness” for the corner defending.

Due to a shortage of defense choices in the team and a disappointing loss, they are now entering the Chelsea match.

Although Chelsea will be ready for this match, the aforementioned incidents should give them even more confidence. The Blues must take advantage of this and attack Spurs while they are weak.

“Are you going to sign a defender in January?” was the question posed to Postecoglou last night.

“That won’t help us against Chelsea on Sunday,” he retorted.

Naturally, as Sunday draws nearer, he will be even more terrified of the Chelsea match. Given that Chelsea played on Wednesday and had an extra day to recuperate, the fact that his team also had to play in a competitive Premier League match on a Thursday night will only make matters worse.
