Man City Negotiates €5M Player Exit

After losing badly to Arsenal 1–5 at the Emirates Stadium this past Sunday in the Premier League, Manchester City is going through a difficult time. But as the winter transfer window comes to an end, the team is eager to make a big move.

Nico Gonzalez is the target of the Etihad Stadium team, which is looking for a defensive midfielder to fill in for Rodri’s extended absence. According to reports, Manchester City is willing to pay between €40 million and €50 million for the gifted Spanish midfielder who is now with FC Porto. He is one of the 10 players who are anticipated to dominate the transfer market’s last day.

In contrast, the team is also in discussions about letting go of a midfield player who doesn’t mesh well with Pep Guardiola’s schemes. A trustworthy source claims that Jacob Wright is getting close to joining a team in the English second division. Swansea City is close to signing the 19-year-old midfielder, who has only made two appearances for the first squad this season. A transfer fee of around £4 million, or €5 million, is the subject of ongoing negotiations.

Recall that since January 1, the defending English champions have acquired three players: Egyptian attacker Omar Marmoush for €75 million, Brazilian central defender Vitor Reis for €37 million, and Uzbek central defender Abdukodir Khusanov for €50 million.
