(Football news) Paris Saint-Germain will pay Bayern Munich a transfer fee of €45 million to acquire the services of Lucas Hernandez. The club expects Lucas Hernandez to sign his new deal on Thursday. He has already arrived in Paris.
Lucas Hernandez, a French international defender, is expected to leave Bayern Munich, and Kim Min-Jae, a South Korean defender, is expected to replace him for a fee of €50 million from Serie A winning side Napoli.
In the 2022–23 season, the 27-year-old defender, Lucas Hernandez struggled both for club and nation. In the opening game of the 2022 World Cup between France and Australia, he tore his ACL, ending his season before it ever began. For Bayern Munich, he played in just 11 games in all competitions, recording one goal and just as many assists.
The Frenchman will now compete in the French capital alongside Kylian Mbappe for his country over the upcoming season.
On the other hand, as Bayern are looking for a replacement for Lucas Hernandez they are on the verge to sign Kim Min-Jae from Napoli. Kim Min-Jae apparently has personal terms with Bayern Munich, and once the Bundesliga giants pay his release clause, he will transfer to Germany.
Kim will sign a five-year contract at the Allianz Arena after accepting Bayern Munich’s offer. When Bayern can trigger a release clause worth more than €50 million, the transfer will be completed in the first two weeks of July.
Manchester United will need to explore elsewhere for defensive reinforcement after being widely connected with the Napoli centre-back for a very long time.
