Following a world-record €300 million (£257 million) offer for Kylian from the Saudi club on Saturday, PSG has granted Al Hilal permission to talk with the player.
Al Hilal representatives were in Paris this week, but there was no interaction with Kylian’s team. PSG insiders think Kylian is avoiding Al Hilal because he already decided to leave PSG as a free agent next summer when his contract expires and join Real Madrid.
The acceptance of a payment schedule and the execution of agreements between Mbappe and Al Hilal were prerequisites for Al Hilal’s offer. At least five clubs, according to PSG, are interested in signing Mbappe. The French champions have received other offers in addition to the one from Al Hilal.
There is reportedly already a “hot market” for the France captain, with Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham, Inter Milan, and Barcelona among the clubs that are interested. If it were up to the French champions, PSG would simply sell Mbappe to the highest bidder, even if other teams would find it difficult to match Al Hilal’s price. However, PSG will consider any and all offers and suggestions to transfer Mbappe.
If the 24-year-old does not sign a contract extension, he will not play for PSG again. To ensure they do not lose out on the player again, Real might now be inclined to submit a formal offer for him.
PSG is adamant that Mbappe, who reportedly cost more than £150 million when he signed from Monaco, will not be lost for nothing. Clubs that are interested have been informed that PSG is even willing to loan Kylian out for the season.
