Joshua Kimmich, a German midfielder, looks ready to extend his contract with Bayern Munich following months of circulating rumors. The 30-year-old has frequently been connected to elite teams like Manchester City, Real Madrid, Liverpool, FC Barcelona, and Inter Milan.
Journalist Florian Plettenberg has revealed that Kimmich and the Bavarian club are currently in advanced stages of negotiations.
If everything goes according to plan, the seasoned player should sign a deal soon that will guarantee his presence at the Allianz Arena through at least June 2028. The agreement’s specifics have not yet been completed, though.
Kimmich has been often linked to elite teams like Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester City, Inter Milan, and FC Barcelona in recent months. However, none of these purported suitors have been contacted by him or his representatives.
In the summer of 2015, Kimmich joined Bayern after honing his craft at Stuttgart. He has made an incredible 426 official appearances since then, scoring 43 goals and dishing out 114 assists. These figures demonstrate the crucial part he has played in recent years at the Munich club under a number of different coaches.
