Lucknow Super Giants’ (LSG) Nicholas Pooran remains the leading run-scorer of IPL 2025, having amassed 189 runs at an impressive average of 63 and a blistering strike rate of 219.76. His latest knock of 44 against Punjab Kings (PBKS) followed explosive innings of 75 off 30 balls against Delhi Capitals (DC) and 70 off 26 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer has climbed to the No. 2 spot after his unbeaten 52 against LSG. Earlier, he smashed a match-winning 97* off 42 balls against Gujarat Titans (GT) and followed it up with another half-century, playing a key role in PBKS’ two victories.
At No. 3 is Gujarat Titans’ (GT) B Sai Sudharsan, who has scored 137 runs in two innings at a strike rate of 167.07. Though not the fastest scorer in the tournament, he has been a consistent performer.

Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) Noor Ahmad has been the standout bowler of the season so far. The left-arm wrist-spinner has taken nine wickets in three games, including figures of 4 for 18, 3 for 36, and 2 for 28. He has outperformed CSK’s senior spinners R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja, who have taken just four wickets combined.
Just one wicket behind Noor is Delhi Capitals’ (DC) Mitchell Starc, who has eight wickets in just two matches. Although expensive in his opening game against LSG (3 for 42), he produced a sensational 5 for 35 against SRH. His fiery opening spell saw him dismiss Travis Head, Ishan Kishan, and Nitish Kumar Reddy in the powerplay before returning in the 18th over to remove Harshal Patel and Wiaan Mulder.
Tied for third place are LSG’s Shardul Thakur and CSK’s Khaleel Ahmed, both with six wickets in three games. Thakur’s best figures so far are 4 for 34 in LSG’s victory over SRH, while Khaleel impressed with 3 for 29 in his first match of the season against Mumbai Indians (MI).
