Inter take on the mighty Romans while AC Milan face Empoli

Both the teams just before the international break lost and will be keen to take three points and keep pace at the top of the standings. The Nerazzurri have now lost three of their first seven Serie A matches for just the 10th time in their history. Only once on previous occasions have they registered four wins in the first eight games.

A repeat of their performance against would be unthinkable as they welcome Roma having won each of their last seven home games in the league and have kept four clean sheets in the process.
