Indian Oil Cup 2023, India vs Nepal International Divyang Cricket Tournament

Indian Differently- abled cricket team won the first match of the Indian Oil Cup 2023 by 109 runs.

The first match of the Indian Oil Cup, India vs Nepal International Divyang Cricket Series organized by the Divyang Cricket Control Board of India was played at the Railway Cricket Stadium, Agra Cantt. After winning the toss, Indian Cricket Team captain Sayed Shah Aziz decided to bat first. Batting first, the Indian team gave a target of 198 runs to Nepal. In which Sayed Shah Aziz scored 97 runs in 70 balls, Abhinandan scored 73 runs in 45 balls.

In reply, Nepal Differently-abled Cricket Team was limited to 89 runs after falling 10 wickets. For Nepal, Anuresh Pasi played the highest innings of 22 runs in 14 balls. On behalf of the Indian Cricket Team, Shahul Hameed took 5 wickets for 18 runs in 4 overs, Ajeet Raj took 2 wickets in 2 overs and Sayed Shah Aziz took 1 wicket in 2 overs giving only 4 runs.

Central Health Minister, Prof. SP Singh Baghel ji enhanced the dignity of this tournament by his presence. The Minister inaugurated the tournament by batting and with his hands Sayed Shah Aziz was given the Man of the Match award for his best all rounder performance.

On the occasion of the Indian Oil Cup, Divyang Cricket Control Board of India President Mukesh Kanchan, Chairman Ikrant Sharma, General Secretary Haroon Rasheed, CEO Ghazal Khan, Joint Chairman Sunil Swatantra Kumar, Treasurer Durgesh Sharma, Irfan Ali, Bhagwan Das Talware, Pankaj Singh Mewada, Bhagyashree. Vartak, etc. were present.
