Gonzalo García Set for Summer Exit

Gonzalo García, the outstanding forward of real madrid Castilla, has been turning heads this season with an incredible score of 24 goals in just 34 outings.  His extraordinary performances in the juvenile league have brought him to the brink of history.  He is only 20 years old and one goal away from matching Mariano Diaz’s record of 25 goals, which was set in the 2015–16 season and is the most goals Castilla has ever scored in a single season in La Liga.

There are three games remaining, so García has plenty of time to beat this record.  His future seems to be outside of the Bernabeu, though, despite his fantastic performances with Real Madrid Castilla.

García is anticipated to depart Valdebebas at the end of the current campaign, according to a source, and many people are betting that he will sign with a first division team this summer.  Real Madrid would probably include a buy-back clause in any agreement to safeguard their investment; they have done this with other up-and-coming players like Nico Paz.

The club will be able to keep some influence over García’s career thanks to this condition, especially if he succeeds as a professional football player.  As of right now, García has already made his mark on Castilla history, exceeding the goals scored in a single season by legendary players like Joselu (19), Emilio Butragueno (21), Jese Rodriguez (22), and Roberto Soldado (21).

García’s possible exit will surely create a big hole while Castilla keeps up its promotion push.  However, in the upcoming years, Real Madrid will be closely monitoring the forward’s development.  In light of the club’s recent practice of re-signing young players, Gonzalo García wearing the iconic white shirt once more would not be shocking if he were to successfully transition into professional football.
