(Cricket news) Gibney’s NYC is located at 228 W 39th Street, New York, New York 10018 (see Google Map) in the midtown area of the city – a short walk from Times Square.

A sister pub of the famed Gibney’s of Malahide in Dublin, the bar will show both of Ireland Men’s New York matches live on multiple screens across three floors.

Flags, hats and jerseys are some of the prizes to be won, and fans can also enjoy The Crease Bar on the rooftop sun terrace, with a special fans-food menu.

A treat for the fans will be a guest appearance by Irish cricket legend, Kevin O’Brien on the evening of 3 June. Kevin will feature in a fan Q&A session starting at 6pm, hosted by Rob Delaney.

Proprietor Tony Gibney said:

“Gibney’s is delighted to welcome cricket fans to the bar – whether you’re a travelling fan, or living locally, our bar will be the spot come to before, during or after the matches, to meet with fellow cricket fans. We’ll have some fun and games, giveaways and supporter gear on sale.

“Gibney’s of Malahide has a long-running association with Irish cricket, so it’s only natural that we become the home away from home for Irish cricket fans in the Big Apple.”
