Full house signs going up for Sri Lanka T20I series

Sri Lanka

The BLACKCAPS T20I series against Sri Lanka is selling out with ticket allocations exhausted for the first and third T20Is this New Year’s period.

The full house sign is up for tonight’s KFC T20I series opener at Bay Oval, despite the release of an extra 500 tickets this morning, taking the ground capacity to 10,000.

For those who miss out on tonight’s opener, there are still tickets available for game two at the same venue in Mount Maunganui on Monday night, December 30.

The third T20I on January 2nd at Saxton Oval in Nelson was the first match to sell out late yesterday, backing up the full crowd who watched the BLACKCAPS and Bangladesh ODI there last December.

BLACKCAPS captain Mitchell Santner said the team was excited by the prospect of playing in front of full houses.

“It’s always great when you hear the sold-out signs are going up and I know the guys are really looking forward to what should be some electric atmospheres here at the Mount and in Nelson.

“Bay Oval and Saxton Oval are both awesome cricket grounds in their own right, and they’re even better when they’re packed to the rafters.

“The team definitely hears and feels the support of our fans and to have full houses already confirmed ahead of the series is really exciting.”

Tickets are competitively priced at $35 for an adult and $10 for juniors with discounts for students, seniors, families and groups.
